Ukrainian League of Copyright and Related Rights (ULCRR) is a collective management organisation in Ukraine which manages the rights of performers and producers of phonograms.
Founded in 2011, for today ULCRR represents the majority of Ukrainian performers and producers of phonograms, as well as foreign record companies and performers. Major labels Sony, Warner and Universal are among the represented recording companies. We also represent in the territory of Ukraine numerous performers and record companies through bilateral agreements with foreign collective management organisations.
In 2019 ULCRR was accredited by the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine to perform extended collective management in the following field:
- the right to an equitable remuneration, joint for performers and producers of phonograms (videograms), for the public performance of phonograms and recorded performances in them, or public demonstration of videograms and recorded performances in them, published for commercial use.
Hence, ULCRR is the only one organisation in Ukraine which has the right to collect remuneration for the public performance of phonograms and performances recorded in them. Exercising the extended collective management ULCRR has the right to collect and distribute remuneration for unlimited catalogue.
ULCRR licences various HoReCa and retail entities (restaurants, hotels, shopping malls, sport clubs, beauty salons etc.) along with the use of music in theatre performances and public events.
